from the Oh God not again! dept. Yeah it's about time. This website is starting to look long in the tooth to me. So geek-mode has been enabled yet again. Time to roll up my sleeves and don my pocket protector... The new site theme is heavily drawing on the distressed "grunge look" you see cropping up everywhere. I had toyed with the idea of making "Steampunk" theme but I really haven't the graphic raw materials for that yet. You can see a preview of the new theme on the MySpace page. On the more esoteric side of things there will be many technological improvements to the site including some funky AJAX widgets. The menus and navigation are being restructured. Also, in the works are new photo galleries and additional blog spaces. Finally, some thought is being put into turning the mp3s on the site into "song objects" and providing them with their own methods and properties so they can be made to exhibit a little intelligence in their handling and use. This may eliminate the need for a relational database like is employed now for tracking stats. So stop back regularly and keep your eye out for all of this new geekness.
